OMIKENA is an independent studio crafting small pieces of software for everyday life and work, one at a time.
OMIKENA is inspired by Omoikane, the deity of wisdom and thoughtful counsel in Japanese mythology.
When the sun goddess Amaterasu hid herself in a cave and the world fell into darkness, it was Omoikane who devised the plan that brought her light back.
Not by force, but by thinking carefully and finding a clever way — that is how we want our tools to make people’s days a little brighter.
Personal records like diaries and notes stay on your own device whenever possible, not on our servers. Anything sent elsewhere is shown to you first.
No monthly treadmill. Our products are built to be bought once and used for a long time, and you can always export your data.
No notifications or ads competing for your attention — just tools that help quietly when you open them.
Everything from design to development to support is done by one person, so your message is answered by the person who built it.
Read your Google Keep diary again.
A Chrome extension that brings years of Google Keep diary entries, photos included, into one place where you can look back with On this day, a yearly view and AI. Your diary stays in your browser.
